SAE ACTIVITIES
- SAE, SOCIETY OF AUTOMOTIVE ENGINEERS is actively conducting a number of technical events in this University.
- Students participate in TIER – 1 TIER – 2 TIER – 3 activities of SAE Conventions and have brought laurels to this University.
- Mechanical Engineering students actively participate in SAE BAJA event from 2007.
ACHIEVEMENTS IN SAE BAJA
- 2011 – Our Team Garuda NXT is participating in Supra SAE, a formula race to be held at Madras Motor Track, Chennai during July 2011.
- 2009 – Won I prize of Rs. 1,00,000 for Maximum Speed Award.
- 2008 – Won Chairman"s Award for outstanding efforts.
- 2007 – 12 th Rank in All India level.
