Faculty of Management Studies

The future is defined by cut throat competition and cutting edge technology, hence we would prefer to give our students that extra edge to face the challenges that the corporate world offers. Business acumen, essential skill sets and confidence is what we are looking at instilling in students enrolling in the Department of Management Studies.
We offering 14 electives are in Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain Management, Information Systems, Human Resource Management, Tourism Management, Hospital and Healthcare Management, Operations Management, Sports Management, Entrepreneurship Management, Media and Entertainment Management, Agriculture Management, Education Management, International Business Management.

Program Educational Objectives

PEO1: Students are able to inculcate entrepreneurial skills to manage current business environment and start new business.

PEO 2:  Students are capable of using research tools to investigate and analyze business environment.

PEO 3: Candidates present themselves with morality, integrity, hard work, ethical behaviour, social consciousness, and a broader outlook in their work place.

PEO 4: Capable of solving complex business problem with multi-disciplinary approach inclusive of technology.

Program Outcomes

PO 1: Apply knowledge of management theories and practices to solve business problems.

PO 2: Foster Analytical and critical thinking abilities for data-based decision making.

Program Specific Outcome

PSO1 Demonstrate the understanding and ability to Identify, Evaluate, Analyze, Interpret and Apply Professional standards, theory, and research to address business problems in making reasoned decisions.

PSO2. Assess the need to adapt business practices with opportunities and challenges in an evolving global environment.

PSO3 Ability to recognize and identify ethical conflicts, apply ethical reasoning and assess response options relative to the needs and interests of relevant stakeholders.

PSO4. Communicate in a business context in a clear, concise, coherent and professional manner.

Benefits of the Program

AWARDS & ACHIEVEMENTS

In order to encourage the students to get ample exposure in various types of management functions, such as event management, paper presentation, etc, they are being sent to various colleges to participate and gain relevant experience. Our students won some excellent awards and honour in several management events conducted by other colleges and universities.
Each semester, some of our students used to win prizes/awards, including first prize, for talent and knowledge from several colleges.
