Since the inception of the department its motive has always been to instil quality and capacity in them to think, plan and formulate to create a better environment for the common man to lead a quality life. The Department also aims at moulding the students in a better way so as to face the present challenges in the industry

To full-fill the above, the department started an Association for Management Studies called – “GEOCENTRIC” to execute all the events conducted for the students. Curriculum related activities form part and parcel of the department. Students are visiting industries in and around Chennai on a regular basis and get exposure in practical aspects of management.
