INTERNAL COMPLAINCE COMMITTEE
The Internal Complaints Committee of our university serves as a critical mechanism for addressing grievances related to Specifically discrimination, and other forms of misconduct within the academic community. Specifically focusing on the well-being and safety of women staff, the ICC plays a pivotal role in creating a conducive work environment that fosters dignity, respect equality.
Objectives of internal complaint committee
- To ensuring a Safe and Supportive Environment: The primary ambition of the ICC is to create an environment where women staff / students / employee feel safe and supported to raise concerns without fear of reprisal. This entails fostering a culture where harassment and discrimination are not tolerated and where individuals are empowered to speak up.
- To Promoting Gender Equality: The ICC aims to promote gender equality by addressing systemic issues that disproportionately affect women in academia. This includes tackling gender bias, ensuring equitable access to opportunities, and supporting the advancement of women staff / students / employee in their careers.
- To Facilitating Fair and Transparent Processes: The ICC strives to uphold fairness and transparency in its processes for investigating complaints. This involves providing clear guidelines, conducting impartial investigations, and ensuring that all parties involved are treated with respect and dignity.
- To organize several programmes to enhance the confidence level of women staff / students / employee for their empowerment in the society.
- To counsel and solve the personal and academic related problems
- To pay special attention on Safety and Security & exploitation
- To bring about attitudinal and behavioral change in adolescent youth of the women staff / students / employee
- To provide a working / living harassment free atmosphere by identifying and fixing responsibility on concerned persons for ensuring equal treatment of and participation by women staff / students / employee in all areas.
- To create awareness about women's welfare laws and counseling
- To develop multidisciplinary approach for the overall personality development
- To prevent sexual harassment and to promote general well-being of women staff / students / employee, teaching and non- teaching women staff of the College
- To create awareness on equal opportunity for women, ultimately leading to improved attitude and
- To empower the women in multi disciplinary approach
