Technology needs to serve good pedagogy by itself. The high-tech smart classroom is an active learning lab designed with tables and interactive whiteboards and smart boards around the perimeter of the room which become powerful pedagogical tools. The students come together in a shared space to create, manipulate, and discuss meaning around a canvas wherein the environments becomes an immersive-learning. The interactive surfaces become a shared perceptual space where the students discuss the meaning and clarify and come to a collective understanding in a digital workspace.
Computer lab in the Faculty of Education is generally multipurpose; containing computers with hardware and software optimized for both computer and communication related tasks or processes depending on the needs. It is well equipped and fully furnished air-conditioned laboratory provided with UPS power supply with uninterrupted net connectivity. Computers in computer labs are typically arranged in rows, so that the workstation has a similar view of one end of the room to facilitate lecturing or presentations in clusters and to facilitate small group work. The computer systems are installed with requiring latest Microsoft software.
The general purpose of any psychology lab is to create a controlled environment in which researchers can study human behavior. Psychology is a widely varied discipline with dozens of areas of psychological research, each of which requires a lab environment. The psychology labs are designed in such a way that a hypothesis must be formed, tested, and accepted or rejected under very strictly designed conditions. The goal is to manipulate the independent variable (the factor that causes behavior) and measure the dependent variable (or the effect caused by the independent variable) in a setting that minimizes confounding conditions in order to establish a better understanding to study human behaviour. The laboratory is well equipped with latest tests, tools, inventories and equipment’s for B.Ed. curriculum requirements.
Language lab is the best place to offer the students to learn the language effectively and efficiently. It facilitates interaction and engages them in maximum language enhancement through computer-based exercise offering more advanced features and functions of the languages. It provides an entertaining way to acquire the four skills of a language. Listening, speaking, reading and writing with an objective to self-learn, to reinforce what they have learnt practically and to receive reports of strengths and weaknesses of the activities.
